THICK & FIT YOGA'S
HEALING VIBRATION SERIES
Join us starting June 20th with a special series | Healing Vibrations with Jenna Conner and Angela Dawn is a five week course to help you explore truly living your yoga. Asana, or the shapes we make on the mat, is just one limb of yoga. Explore how we can use some of yoga's other limbs to find body autonomy and mindfulness in our daily activities. Learn about yoga krias, or cleansing techniques that we can use in our daily lives to cleanse body, mind and home, and then extend your practice past your waking hours and open up to healing on a cellular level with sleep & dream yoga. Conclude the five week series with a healing sound bath of vibrations from Tibetan singing bowls and other instrumentation.

As a curvy woman, Angela Dawn (RYT500) often felt left out of the larger conversation about health and fitness, even after managing and improving two autoimmune conditions with a healthy lifestyle and regular yoga practice. Yoga Teacher training not only allowed her to steer the conversation her way, but also towards anyone, anywhere, who was feeling excluded.
Angela has trained in south India, New York City, and the Thousand Islands. Certified as a Yoga For All instructor by Dianne Bondy, she has completed training in Hatha, Ashtanga-inspired Vinyasa, Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative yoga, and trauma-Informed yoga. Through alignment-based mandala flow she encourages her students to build strength and stability in the bodies they inhabit at the moment, rather than waiting for some future perfected version of themselves that may or may not come.
Jenna Conner first discovered yoga in college to ease stress and back pain, and never turned back. In 2016, she received her 200 hour certification from Sun Salute Studios in Torre de la Horadada, Spain under the instruction of Amanda Dee Smith. She just recently received her 80 Hour Prenatal certification from Integral Yoga, here in NYC.
Jenna’s classes are creative flows that incorporate breath, alignment, meditation, and philosophy all to a fun, upbeat playlist. Forever a student of yoga, there’s so much more she still aspires to learn. Jenna loves to travel and has taught yoga in Spain, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. She continues to work and spread her love of yoga around NYC and the world, making it available to all types of people regardless of size, shape, color, culture, or ability.
